Executive
The Executive Team at MARV consists of Maneesh Awasthi and Viru Raparthi. Together, they have over 30 years of banking experience and have each held leadership roles within some of the largest investment banks.
New York
Maneesh Awasthi is a co-founder of MARV Capital Partners LLC and holds the position of Managing Partner in the firm. Mr. Awasthi has over 15 years of experience in the structured credit and fixed income space. Prior to MARV Capital, Mr. Awasthi was responsible for structuring and originating CLO business in the structured credit space at Citigroup and Deutsche Bank. Mr. Awasthi led and executed CLO deals ranging from plain vanilla cash structures to highly complex hybrid structures involving cash and synthetic with leveraged loans, CLOs, CDOs, HY and IG Bonds as the underlying. Over time, Mr. Awasthi has worked with premier CLO managers, helping them establish structured credit platforms, raise capital, source assets, and place debt across the globe. Prior to Citi and Deutsche Bank, Mr. Awasthi was at PaineWebber in the fixed income strategy group.
Mr. Awasthi has an MBA from William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration – University of Rochester and a Bachelor of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology – BHU.
Viru Raparthi is a co-founder of MARV Capital Partners LLC and holds the position of Managing Partner in the firm Mr. Raparthi has more than 18 years of professional experience in the financial and energy services industries. Mr. Raparthi has worked on the buy-side with Merrill Lynch primarily in the the structured credit area. Subsequently, he joined Rabobank to start their CLO structuring platform. At Rabobank, he was responsible for the primary issuance of CLOs, and worked with several Issuers in the US and Europe to underwrite complex deals in the CLO sector. In addition to underwriting CLOs, he was responsible for managing balance sheet for the purposes of financing CLO deals and tranches, as well as executing market value CLO deals, via total return swaps. Prior to the financial services industry, he ran his own oil and gas consulting business in Texas and Brazil.
Mr. Raparthi received a Bachelor of Technology with honors, from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
Mario Clemente joined MARV Capital Partners LLC in February of 2013 to head up their new issue CLO effort. Mr. Clemente has over 15 years of experience in the structured credit and fixed income space. Prior to MARV, Mr. Clemente spent the vast majority of his career running the CLO syndicate platforms for firms such as Bank of America, Natixis and Citi where he was responsible for leading CDO transactions through their entire life cycle from origination to closing. Mr. Clemente has been involved with well north of $20 Billion in securitizations of different asset classes including leveraged loans, middle market loans, synthetic loans, CMBS, RMBS, ABS and CDO’s.
Mr. Clemente has an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University.
Adam Zivitofsky is a leading member in the sales and relationship management effort at MARV in New York. Prior to joining MARV Adam was an investment banker at Gleacher & Company in their restructuring group. Before that Adam spent over 10 years, selling and structuring, derivatives and structured credit investments to institutional accounts while at Rabobank, Societe Generale (“SG”) and a specialty finance group acquired by SG in 2003. Adam’s strengths lie in his broad knowledge of fixed income, asset-backed and the derivative products market.

Frank Marino is the Chief Compliance Officer at MARV Capital Inc. has been licensed with FINRA since 1987, and has been involved in cross border transactions with Europe since 1983. Mr. Marino has extensive experience in sourcing capital for both private and public companies. He was President and cofounder of Millennium Financial Group, Inc., (now I-Bankers Securities). During his tenure, he managed over 20 Initial Public Offerings or Secondary Offerings, as well as numerous Regulation D and Regulation S private placements, in which nearly half a billion dollars in equity was raised from investors in over a dozen countries. Mr. Marino has acted as CEO to companies ranging from early internet start-ups to $50 million revenue brick and mortar operations with 70 employees, and has served as a board member or adviser to many others. He is an honors graduate of Entrepreneur Business School Program from University of Southern California, as well as a graduate from the European Studies and Italian Language program from Franklin College in Switzerland.

Andy Irons leads the sales and relationship management effort at MARV in London. Prior to joining MARV Andy was a senior relationship manager at MarketAxess Europe Ltd. Before that Andy spent almost 20 years working closely with fixed income institutional investors at banks such as State Street Global Markets, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Nomura and Merrill Lynch. Andy began his career in the City of London working in asset management for Saudi International Bank. Andy’s strengths lie in his broad knowledge of fixed income, asset-backed and the derivative products market. He continues to broaden his market experience and strives to fulfil client needs in a changing environment.
